sad thing is I am not rooting for any football team now that the Seahawks are out of the running. Not really a football fan, my son's girlfriend is a Seagal cheerleader so I wanted the Seahawks to win so SHE could go to the Superbowl!

That's an interesting observation angiebaby, thanks for the insight. I wouldn't mind learning the night spots in Paris; even better if I was learning those "spots" with Lenny. :-D !!!

perhaps Black Veleteen was written after some soul searching about God and sin (as he says about sex outside of marriage), and well his time in Paris? not sure but I think that was the "space" he was in at the time. I say I don't know all the night spots in France, but I WOULD do his dishes, :)

I'm no art expert myself; I just find it so interesting. What inspires the artist is always my question when I'm viewing art in any form. I'm always trying to figure out what inspired a song when I hear it. One I'm especially curious about is Black Velveteen.

Yes, the influence from Van Gogh upon Munch is clear in many of his works. They all are European artists and so I guess those similarities are quite normal. Munch adds later some other features to his Art such as Symbolism, etc...that would derive into Expressionism and much modern Art.
I'm glad, Vivian, to speak with you about Art. I am not an expert at all but love it.

    Hi Vivian,
Nice to greet you from LK website too.
I love Van Gogh but I am afraid "The Scream" was painted by Edvard Munch. In any case, both of them are practically of the same period of time, so it's normal you may get confused.
We keep in touch! Take care. xx
