I saw some video of the TN concert - and was surprised that the audience didn't know Let Love Rule. I don't know a lot of country music but I know some classics and some current songs/artists. I thought LK and the band sounded awesome at the show. And hopefully the crowd walked away from the concert with admiration for Lenny & the band. LK must have had a lot of fun in TN - it looked like a great time and he seemed inspired. That's always good! #LLR

I was thinking about you performing at the CMT awards and also opening that concert in Tennessee. The fact that you collaborated in a genre that left many surprised made me smile. I found myself happy for you and encouraged by your willingness to play (in the greatest sense of the word - to experiment, to take risks, to try new things). This act of courage made me feel empowered to keep pushing forward with my work (I'm a visual artist) despite the fact that people get frustrated because I don't fit into any one box or under any one label. I saw your act of bravery as liberating having realized that not fitting into any categories allows you the freedom to go anywhere and do whatever you want! YES! You amaze me. Much respect to you.

I saw a bit and as usual your performance hit it! I also read Adam Gold's Rolling Stone article about it and the lack of audience participation-well cause they did not know your stellar songs!
I am not a C& W fan but the audience could have made more of an effort ......
So don't go feeling bad if they weren't groovin' to your tunes!!
