Australia, Prime Minister Cuts University Music Course.

The Prime Minister of Australia, Julia Gillard, has just slashed "Improvisation" courses for music students from Universities in Australia, in an attempt to save money. But isn't improvisation essential to becoming a successful musician?

In a sophisticated society isn't music and the arts important for reflecting culture and bringing business to any one community. It's also a form of communication, it is saying "This is our culture, the culture of our time and eon or era."

Sometimes as rock stars get older, they become more political. Peter Garret, in Australia is one example.
